I love salsa! When blueberries are at their peak, they are so sweet and I love to pair them with the heat of jalapeno peppers for a spectacular salsa.
1 pint of fresh blueberries
1 small jalapeno pepper, chopped
Juice of 1 – 2 limes, depending on the size
1 small red onion, chopped
1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
Sea Salt, to taste
Note: I love the salsa with just blueberries, but pineapple is a great addition!
Combine all ingredients in a Vitamix, food processor, or blender for a thin salsa. Hand chop for a chunky salsa.
Serve with chips!
